Early water resistance: Comindex has the solution!

Comindex is distributing a new coagulation polymer, which can be added to existing water-borne systems, accelerating film formation in paints and coatings. ALBOrapid 22 is an APEO-free aqueous polyacrylate solution that accelerates surface drying, especially in poor conditions with low temperatures (5°C - 10°C) and high relative humidity.

For greater effectiveness of ALBOrapid22 coagulant, Alberdingk Boley has developed the AC 2008 acrylic resin. This resin is an aqueous dispersion with a minimum film forming temperature of approximately 0°C, thus it makes it possible to formulate systems with a low or zero VOC content.

Thanks to the high solid content (approximately 59%) it provides versatility in monolayer product formulation for coatings. In addition, this resin reduces efflorescence when applied to mineral substrates.
