Face-to-face seminars

This year, we at Comindex will be telling you how to formulate more sustainable products based on renewable raw materials. Our colleagues at BYK will be introducing you to the range of possibilities they offer with their dispersing and wetting additives, focussing particularly on problem solving.

What about online seminars?

The online seminars we have organised over the past few years have received highly positive feedback. We are delighted to announce that we already have another one planned; namely, the Construction Seminar due to be held on 29 February from 9:30 to 11:00 am which will deal with protection of substrates and sustainable alternatives in formulations for floors.

We at Comindex will be offering guidelines to formulate more sustainable, efficient construction products, adapting to new regulations and the latest demands of the sector. We will showcase the use of Alberdingk Boley’s liquid resins to strengthen materials, formulate waterproof membranes and apply microcement with protective top coats. We will also be exploring silanized options for difficult substrates and sustainable alternatives for floors through the use of polyurethanes and epoxy systems.

BYK-Chemie GmbH will be introducing attendees to a broad range of additives to optimise application properties, and to enhance the efficiency and stability in storage of formulations for construction materials, such as: dry mix mortars, concrete, cement-based systems, tile adhesives, flooring, sealants, etc.

Plastics & Rubber trade fair

On 6 and 7 March the first edition of this trade fair will be held in Hospitalet del Llobregat. Aimed at the plastics and rubber sector, in addition to the exhibition, for which you can find us at stand 142, we will be taking part in a presentation on carbon blacks thanks to the support of our represented company PCBL.

52nd edition of the CED (Spanish Committee of Detergency, Surfactants and Related Industries) conference

We also operate actively in the detergency sector, and this year we are taking part once again in the Technical Conference which will be held in Barcelona on 6 and 7 March. During the event our technical sales advisor, Anna Costa, will introduce attendees to the benefits offered by the natural waxes we distribute as a bio alternative to microplastics. We will also be available at our information desk which will be set up at the event over the course of these two days.
