Environmental and toxicological considerations are driving the replacement of certain raw materials –particularly pigments containing heavy metals (zinc and/or chromium)– which pose a risk of intoxication through direct or indirect handling

Lingwe introduces the HOMAC range, anticorrosive pigments based on amorphous silicas with calcium ion exchange, which form an insoluble silicate layer that helps protect surfaces against oxidation processes.

LM 30

  • Neutral pH
  • Particularly recommended for polyurethane and polyester systems
  • Film thicknesses below 20 µm
     

LM 50

  • Neutral pH
  • Particle size larger than LM 30
  • Particularly recommended for polyurethane systems
  • Film thicknesses above 20 µm
  • Suitable for cost-effective finishes
     

LM 70

  • Neutral pH
  • Extremely low electrical conductivity
  • By reducing water-soluble impurities, it lowers permeability and foam formation tendency
  • Synergistically enhances corrosion resistance through physical barrier effects and electrochemical stability
     

LMC 40

  • Alkaline pH
  • Low oil absorption
  • Higher calcium content, providing increased salt spray resistance
  • Improves adhesion to the substrate
  • Particularly recommended for epoxy and polyester coatings for both interior and exterior use
  • Improved flexibility resistance in epoxy systems
     

LMC 60

  • Alkaline pH
  • Higher calcium content and anticorrosive performance compared to LMC 40
