The key role of resins in ink performance

The key role of resins in ink performance

Wednesday, 15 July, 2026

In ink formulation, resin selection is one of the most important factors in optimising properties such as adhesion, flexibility, thermal resistance, formulation stability and colour development.

At Comindex –part of IMPAG Group– we are pleased to highlight the KEMPRO range of resins for printing inks, specifically developed for a wide variety of applications, including printing on flexible films, PVC and metallised substrates.

With more than 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, KEMPRO offers solutions for the formulation of:

  • Flexographic inks
  • Gravure inks
  • Nitrocellulose (NC)-based systems
  • NC-free, polyurethane-only systems
  • PVC inks
  • Primers and coatings for flexible packaging
