Metaflake pigments are characterised by their high quality and high brilliance

Metaflake manufactures aluminium pigments using its own innovative technology based on the use of water during milling instead of the typical solvents as it is more environmentally friendly.

The pigments obtained are silver dollar type, characterised for their high quality and brilliance. They can be used for coatings, inks and plastics. The grades available are as follows:

  • AQUA-BRITE: for water-based systems
  • META-BRITE: for solvent-based systems
  • PELLEX: aluminium pigment-based pellets with PE wax, suitable for use in extrusion and injection systems

Metaflake was set up in 1997 in Scotland and has built up extensive experience in the manufacture of aluminium pigments. Currently distributes its products worldwide.
