NECOWEL 4300: excellent gypsum plasterboard stain blocking

NECOWEL 4300 from ASK Chemicals is a patented resin for stain blocking paints. It is a cationic modified alkyd emulsion that offers the excellent stain blocking properties of cationic resins with the technical benefits afforded by use of anionic systems.

Normally, after the plasterboard painting process using standard acrylic emulsions, yellowing stains appear as a result of contamination of components used in the plasterboard manufacture process. These stains are hard to remove and fix when using traditional resins in our paints.

Thanks to its special formulation and quick drying properties, Necowel 4300 can fix and create an insulation barrier against these stains. It can be used as a blocking primer making it possible to paint afterwards using a traditional system, or it can be used as a sealing, blocking and finishing system.
