New bismuth banadate orange: DCC Orange ORS (PO.86)

As part of its high-performance pigment range, Dominion Colour Corporation is launching a new bismuth vanadate orange, DCC Orange ORS (PO.86).

Its key features are as follows:

New CI number – Pigment Orange 86
Cleanest inorganic yellow shade orange on the market
High opacity, excellent coverage strength
Good starting base for orange colour matches
Very good weather fastness
Primarily recommended for use in solvent-based paints for automotive, high-end industrial and architectural applications
High pigment loadings possible (low oil abs)
Excellent solvent resistance
Limited resistance to acids and alkalis
Suitable heat stability for coil and polyolefin coloration
Non warping in polyolefin

Its uses include:

Solvent-based paints for automotive, high-end industrial and architectural applications
Polyolefin plastic applications (may be processed up to 250 ºC)
