Our represented company Ruicheng is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations

In addition to being an ISO certified company, Ruicheng is fully determined that commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is very important for the development of a company.

Ruicheng is governed as a company by the “6 Ps” – Pleasant, Promise, Passion, Practice, Progress and Perfect – and shares these values with its partners, suppliers, distributors and agents.

With the aim of complying with the SDGs, Ruicheng is taking various specific actions:

1. Protection and defence of workers’ rights, growth with development of skills and respectfulness to all in the workplace without discrimination:

  • Specific training.
  • Fair wages and benefits above the minimum established.
  • Prohibition of discrimination both in selection processes and the working environment on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, etc.
  • Organisation of team building activities by the company every year.

2. Adoption of appropriate measures in the field of health and safety and prioritisation of the improvement of working conditions of employees:

  • Training in the field of safety four times a year.
  • Medical examination once each year.
  • Provision of good environmental working conditions.
  • Continuous improvement in employees’ working conditions and prevention of risks for health and safety.

3. Implementation of environmental prevention measures and commitment to the manufacturing of ecological products. Development of waste reduction plans and monitoring of waste recycling:

  • Water treatment facilities within the company itself.
  • Prioritisation of waste recycling.
  • Implementation of specific containers for waste recycling.

4. Development of competitive products, maintaining innovation:

  • The current objective is the development of ecological and sustainable products.
  • Inspired by colourful, mysterious and beautiful nature, development of products with outstanding colour saturation, intense colour effects and elegant silky finishes or striking glosses to make final applications more attractive.

5. Membership of the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) to reach its objective of eradicating child exploitation and improving working conditions in Indian mica mines:

  • Prioritise work places that embrace this initiative: all of its suppliers have joined and are certified by the RMI, and consequently they do not use mica derived from mines where there is child exploitation.
  • Promote provision of health services and other social services so communities can further increase their standard of living.
  • Obtain legal recognition of mica mining activities to make child protection laws applicable.
  • Increase access to legitimate and legal sources of mica.
