Royal Black: High-performance carbon blacks for plastics

Among the various ROYAL BLACK grades for plastics, the BLEUMINA grades are particularly noteworthy. Available in bead or powder form, they are designed for the most demanding applications.

BLEUMINA grades offer excellent dispersion and are specifically engineered to achieve deep black tones. Thanks to their very small particle size –consistently below 20 nm– BLEUMINA carbon blacks provide outstanding UV resistance, ensuring long-lasting colour performance in both interior and exterior applications. In addition, their morphology enables the production of high-gloss surfaces with low surface roughness. Key applications include automotive interiors and exteriors, consumer electronics, household appliances, coatings, and many other high value-added products.

Other notable ROYAL BLACK grades include the ENERGIA range, conductive carbon blacks designed to impart dissipative and antistatic properties to plastic materials.

In addition, certain ROYAL BLACK grades comply with the most stringent food-contact regulations, such as PP802F, while others are specifically developed for applications such as water pipes, synthetic textile fibres, and more.
