The time to protect is now

With the onset of autumn rains, it is essential to protect surfaces from moisture and prevent water penetration, which can lead to surface degradation. For this reason, it is important to control and repair:

  • Leaks that cause damp, mould and fungal growth, which may present health risks.
  • Cracks and fissures that can generate structural problems.
  • Excessive deterioration leading to increased maintenance costs
     

Alberdingk offers a range of products designed to ensure effective protection with excellent resistance to water exposure.

Aqueous dispersions.

  • Alberdingk® AS 2040: A styrene–acrylic dispersion free from APEO and ammonia, offering high flexibility and good water resistance.
  • Alberdingk® AS 2110 VP: An anionic styrene–acrylic dispersion modified with silane, ammonia-free.
  • Alberdingk® AS 2120 VP: An anionic styrene–acrylic dispersion modified with silane and neutralised with ammonia. A harder version of Alberdingk® AS 2110 VP.
  • Alberdingk® U 228 VP: A high-solid aliphatic polyether–polyurethane dispersion, solvent-free, with an elongation at break of 550%. Provides good resistance to hydrolysis and saponification.
  • Alberdingk® U 400 N: An aqueous aliphatic polyether–polyurethane dispersion, anionic and colloidal, of low viscosity and TEA-free, with an elongation at break of 500%. Exhibits excellent resistance to hydrolysis and saponification.
  • Alberdingk® U 6154 VP: An aqueous anionic dispersion of medium hardness based on aliphatic polycarbonate–polyurethane, with no free isocyanate groups and low viscosity. Provides an elongation at break of 300%, and excellent chemical and weathering resistance (including UV exposure).
     

OH-functional polyols for 2C systems.

Based on castor oil, 100% solids, low viscosity and highly hydrophobic. These systems are crosslinked with aromatic isocyanates and must be overcoated with flexible aliphatic polyurethane for exterior applications to ensure UV resistance.

  • Albodur® 901: Provides elasticity, flexibility and excellent chemical resistance.
  • Albodur® 903: Provides elasticity, medium flexibility and excellent chemical resistance. 
  • Albodur® 906: Provides elasticity, flexibility and excellent chemical resistance.
